SOLD (1910) Steiff Button Cotty. For Sale £1950 1905Magnificent Apricot Steiff. This is Count Von Trapp "Cotty" a 16" apricot Steiff Teddy Bear c. 1910 with his underscored F Steiff button in his ear. He is a really strong and handsome bear. His pads may have been expertly replaced some years ago. He has a good mohair cover of 95% and boot button eyes. He has a shaved muzzle and some extra stitches to his nose. All his joints work well. He is totally excelsior filled and has a great hump. One shoulder

Wool wool and mostly kapok filling

He has all of his original felt pads that have a few tiny nibble holes on his paws but otherwise have survived well

He used to be called Gareth but the auctioneer was call Jasper

They have Alpha Farnell labels near their zips

The colour really suits her I think
