A Very Fine Georgian Silver Entree Dish London 1810 by John Foskett & John Stewart Edwardenquire An excellent quality George III solid silver entree dish of shaped rectangular cushion form. Decorated with gadrooned borders to base and cover, both have an engraved crest see pictures. The removable cast silver handle with matching decoration. Clearly hallmarked for London 1810 by John Foskett & John Stewart to the base and lid. The handle is marked with the duty & lion passant marks. The base, lid and handle are marked with 2. Hallmarks are all clear though a little rubbed

He was appointed Subordinate Goldsmith to the King in 1723 and served until his death in 1742
