Like all the English made Pelissier tables it is constructed from solid beech apart from the baize covered top which uses a water resistant MDF board. Beech is a hardwood favoured by top furniture makers because of its superior qualities compared to softwoods such as pine. The legs and frame on this model are a polished natural beech wood. The standard size is with an 80cms square
