“Slopeside Gratitude Pt.2” - Original HatI was inspired to paint this big beauty while taking the Grey chair up to the summit at Red Mountain. It was mid afternoon and coming to the close of a perfect powder day with friends. The sun about halfway up began bursting through the trees and so became my inspiration! 40x60" acrylic on canvas. I found this abundant patch of foliage on a little solo walk from the lodge and was very inspired by the light coming through the trees to shine on the late fall flowers
