It was an August afternoon

there was a store at the corner that caught my eye at 1 AM

and this tiny thing wasn't even breaking a sweat - not that birds can sweat - anyhow

This bright pink water lily floats on clear water on a Summer's Day

It's the perfect way to embrace late Spring and admire the vibrant exhibits

Especially these with their white petals highlighting their yellow trumpets

and I think it looks especially good when lit at night as it is here

these tulips are a good reminder of sunny Spring days
