1980s Bushmills Black Bush Special Old Irish Whisky 1 Litre spanishColour: Pale gold. Nose: Nicely grainy and nutty, with lots of freshness, developing on the trademark banana notes as well as a little apple and grape juice. Also a little toasted cake, hints of mastic and a very faint smokiness. Very inoffensive, round and ultra clean. Mouth: Fruity, direct, cereally and again very fruity. We have mostly bananas, dried pears, coconuts and cornflakes. Not weak at all, with a finish thats medium long, still very fruity
Palate: Creamy buttercream and vanilla
making it a versatile choice for discerning drinkers2
This whisky is smooth and elegant
Great balance and elegance
Mouth: Soft tannins on one side
and it's perfect for a warm day
with flavors of caramel
it is distinguished by its mellow
This gives it the ‘rancio’ aroma – earthy and mushroomy
Nose: Dark chocolate notes emerge
Some reviewers note lemon
