The six sided column is built from individual brass members with precise mitered joints at each corner. White opal glass panels are set into the frame with pointed Gothic arches at the top, creating a vertical rhythm that draws the eye upward. A decorative band of pierced metalwork near the base adds texture to the lower section. The backplate features a curved scalloped top
