Cross-bar Spindle GlassMade from Canadian cherry wood, from British Columbia. A cross bar spindle is used to make handspun yarn. The whorl is removeable, allowing the spinner to move straight from spinning to plying without the need to re wind the singles. The spindle has been carved with a sharp bottom point and weighted such that it can spin in the supported style, as well as in a drop suspended style. 21cm long.
