Complete with an adjustable plaited waxed braid cord. The Hei Matau was taken as a good luck charm on fishing trips, the mythical and spiritual powers of Pounamu keeping away evil spirits and ensuring a safe return. This meaning is translated today as safe travel and strength and determination. Reference code: TL
