HGC Shooting Star features large, upright, 5 petaled flowers in a creamy light yellow color, atop a mound of dark, evergreen, leathery foliage that is seratted and has a pattern. The blooms are long lasting. This plant is deer resistant as well. Cold hardy Hellebores thrive in any soil, but prefer nutrient rich, chalky soil. Keep moist, but not soggy. These plants are excellent used in gardens, pots, and planters outside.
