Spanning Time mapleMarch 17, 2024. The early spring Milky Way arcs across an abandoned homestead in Central Montana as the coming day already sends light to kiss the easter horizon. Each of these once beautiful homes tells a story, and I am drawn to their stark beauty and also the pervasive sense of sadness that surrounds them. Taking this photograph it was easy to imagine children playing in the yard, holiday dinners inside, and a sense that things would never change.
