Its usually a bowl that didnt turn out quite right, a big piece that has cracked in the kiln, or an extra porcelain shade from a lighting project. Last year I made my first batch of actual planters and I am so happy to have finally made more of them. The forms are sleek and have an integrated base to catch soil and excess water.
