Please note that this is simulated black anodised meaning that it is made from black plastic material with an anodised "brushed" texture on the top surface. It is not made from aluminium metal.

This pickguard was designed in the 1970's when many players were removing the single coil pickups and routing the body to install a humbucker in both bridge and neck positions
