Basilisco - Teodosio Aglianico del Vulture 2021Since its start in the early 90s, the winery Basilisco has aimed for the highest quality both in its vineyards and wine making and has achieved great success in a short time. In 2011 Feudi di San Gregorio, the leading winery in the South of Italy, acquired Basilisco in order to gain access to some of the ancient tuff stone caves in the Shesh, the historic area of cellars in Barile. The purchase was directed by a belief in the promise of Basiliscos

in the form of wine in barrels which were loaded onboard the visiting ships both to provide much needed refreshments to the sailors

These advantageous conditions

that enables Fantini to produce wines of great value that are appreciated all over the world

Their vineyards in the Beka’a Valley cover 220 hectares and are planted with cabernet sauvignon
