Model 42 Dining Chairs, 1956 54 ChairKai Kristiansen's iconic Model 42 dining chairs, produced by cabinetmaker Villy Schou Andersen in Denmark and designed in 1956. These examples have refinished rosewood frames with seat and back reupholstered in Sahco Zero textured fabric. The back pad has a tilt function for added comfort. Larger sets and different upholstery options including COM are available by request. Kai Kriatiansen was a significant member of the 3rd generation of Danish Modern

The base frame and drawer liners are made from mahogany
