Victorian Trade Card - Clark's O.N.T. Spool Cotton - Hard to Beat - Boy with Drum girlThis is an original Victorian trade card for Clark's O. N. T. spool cotton, titled "Hard to Beat". It shows a young boy with a drum that looks like a spool of Clark's thread. The back says "If the lady who reads this card will buy Clark's O. N. T. Spool Cotton she will get the best thread for hand & machine sewing. It is wound on white spools." It measures 2 7 8 x 4 3 8 inches and is in good condition with a little wear and discoloration to edges.

and sore throats and indicates that you can buy a sample box for 5-cents or an "elegant glass bottle" for 25-cents "for sale on this Train"
