Carlos Dalmau Jr., professionally known as Tricks, was born and raised in Plainfield, New Jersey. His passion for music began at an early age when he was drawn by the vibrant sounds of Reggae and Afro music.

His natural talent and dedication quickly made him a prominent producer and DJ in the Tri-state area. At the age of 19, in 2014, Tricks embarked on his first DJ tour, gripping audiences across the US.

His ability to seamlessly blend various genres quickly garnered attention, leading to features and airplay on platforms such as Mix Pack Radio and Vice Magazine. He has DJ-ed on stages such as, Brownies and Lemonade (California), Webster Hall (NY), Benefit Concert with VH1 (Chicago), Boiler Room and Notable clubs in New Jersey.

Throughout his career Tricks has Gained many Notorieties through his Viral Tik Tok Songs Such as “Forever (My Neck My Back), Donk , All Mine (Jersey Club) and many More. He has also collaborated with industry leaders such as DJ Taj, Brent Faiyaz, Maino,Fabolous, Kato On The Track, CoCo and Breezy, UNIIQU3, DJ Jayhood, DJ Smallz732, and maad. His tracks have also been played on renowned stations including Hot97, Power 105.1, Shade 45, Power 99, BBC1 Radio, and at major festivals like EDC and Coachella.
